CAN I GET 1 OR 2 SHIRTS?

mighty tees focuses on bulk orders of 25 or more.

screen printing is an extensive process, so 1 or 2 shirts would not be cost effective.


ORDER MINIMUM

ORDER MINIMUM = 25 PIECES PER DESIGN.

ORDER MAY BE split between different styles if same setup is required (same design proportions/ placement)

approved under minimum orders have a setup fee of $25 per screen.

EX. A 2 color design on less than 25 tees will be price per item + $50 in screen charges ($25x2)

Not all under minimum orders are approved.


MOCKUPS

View mockups carefully!

after approval, mighty tees is not responsible for errors missed.

CAREFULLY CHECK FOR SPELLING ERRORS. THIS INCLUDES PHONE NUMBERS.

mockup should be pictured on correct product. IF your order NEEDS A POCKET, DO NOT APPROVE A MOCKUP ON A SHIRT WITHOUT A POCKET. mockups are created on the product we intend to print on.

If providing your own mockup, be specific if you want a different design than exactly what is pictured/linked.

Mockups are sent upon request, and at our discretion. They are not sent for every order unless REQUESTED.  [Edited to add 8/1/23 AE]


GRAPHIC DESIGN

Graphic design = $40/hour. we can make as many changes as your heart desires, but do charge by the hour.

If your design is low quality and unable to be ENLARGED to print size, it must be digitized/redesigned.

$100 down payment required for initial design work. A MAJORITY OF designs take one hour ($40) remaining amount is applied to the final cost of the order, OR REFUNDED IF NO ORDER IS PLACED.


There are 2 important factors to note when submitting artwork: RESOLUTION & SIZE. Please submit the highest resolution file possible. A file saved at 200 dpi (dots per inch) or higher is ideal. Make sure the file size, in inches, is as big or bigger than the size you need it printed onto a shirt.

it is recommended that artwork files are submitted from software programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

.psd .ai, .pdf or .eps are ideal.

We can accept other formats, but there may be design costs to convert them into print ready files.

.jpg files are not large enough to print.

Business cards are not an acceptable format. A design taken from a  3 inch card enlarged into a 12 inch image on the front of a shirt will result in a tragic, pixelated mess.

SUBMITTING ARTWORK


COLOR CHANGES

$10 per ink color change

The most common color changes are black to white to ensure your design shows up on all pieces.

If your order has a left-chest and a back print that both must be changed, this is $20 since two screens are altered to do so.


ADDING ITEMS AT A LATER DATE pushes back completion time.

time must be allowed for shipping of addITIONAL items AND proper processing to ensure your order is completed correctly.

CHANGE EXISTING ORDER


The first 5 colors/types of pieces are no additional charge.

there is a $5 fee for each additional color/type of piece after initial 5.

increasing the number of colors/styles in an order dramatically lengthens time needed for ordering, invoicing, counting in, separating, etc.

Different colors and fabrics require different ink and curing temperatures. An order with only one style/color takes less than half of the time that an order the same size with multiple colors/styles would.

HANDLING FEE


multiple styles/colors/changes takes longer to complete.

Ordering, invoicing, sorting, and overall processing takes much longer with multiple styles/colors/changes.

to ensure your order is done correctly, extra time is spent double, triple, and quadruple checking complex orders at every step.

COMPLEX ORDERS


On dark tees, ink doesn’t show up well.

with a white under base, the colors show up as they should. An under base requires a separate screen and counts as an additional color for setup even though you can’t “see” the additional color used.

BELOW is an example of yellow ink on a black tee. The letters at the top have a white under base, and the bottom letters do not.

TURNAROUND TIME

typically, TURNAROUND TIME IS 10-14 days of final order PLACEMENT.

INCLUDE A DUE DATE IF ORDER IS NEEDED FOR AN EVENT. A rush fee may apply. COMPLETING AN ORDER IN A WEEK OR LESS IS RARE, BLANK ITEMS MUST BE ORDERED BEFORE PRINTING.

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT TO MAKE SURE THE PROCESSOR HAS CORRECTLY APPLIED EXEMPTION.

TAX EXEMPTION


2XL+ COST MORE

2XL ARE +$2

3XL + ARE +$3

WHOLESALE T-SHIRT suppliers charge more for items beginning at size 2XL. Mighty Tees typically caps the additional charge to customers to $3 extra for all sizes 3XL and larger, unless the additional blank cost is excessive for extended sizes.


An adult sized print will not fit on a youth SMALL or smaller, this requires separate setups.

There is a minimum of 25 pieces for each setup. Even though the design may be the same, A TODDLER SHIRT ISN’T GOING TO FIT ON THE SAME BOARD AS AN ADULT SHIRT.

CONVENIENCE FEE

There is a 3% convenience fee for card TRANSACTIONS listed on the last line of invoiceS.

If paid by check, cash, OR BANKS TRANSFER, the convenience fee is removed from the total.


ORDERS CAN BE SHIPPED TO ADDRESSES IN THE CONTINENTAL US THROUGH UPS OR USPS UPON REQUEST. THEIR RATES ARE ADDED TO YOUR INVOICE. We can deliver to businesses in the Paducah area if 100 or more shirts are ordered. A delivery fee will be added depending on distance traveled.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY


first time customer PAYMENTS ARE due when order is placed.

Most established customers can pay at the time of pickup as long as payment record is sound.

At our discretion, orders with higher “up front” cost will need 50% down. 

PAYMENT DUE DATE


There are MANY factors that determine pricing SUCH AS:

BRAND / STYLE / SIZE / # OF PRINT LOCATIONS / # OF COLORS IN DESIGN / QUANTITY ORDERED

HOW ARE PRICES DETERMINED?


OVERALL, fees are included in the price of the printed items UNLESS THE ORDER IS UNDER THE MINIMUM OF 25 PIECES, WHICH WILL BE DISCUSSED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS. ADDITIONAL FEES WOULD BE FOR CIRCUMSTANCES LISTED ABOVE (COLOR CHANGES, SETUP CHANGES, ETC.)
